Dear Partners and Stakeholders,
When we look at the South African education landscape, we see a sector paralysed by fragmentation. Schools are currently juggling multiple payment providers—one for fees, one for the tuckshop, and cash for everything else. This fragmentation creates "admin overload" and missed opportunities.
Our Strategic Shift: The "One Partner" Model. This year, Sticitt is cementing its position as SA's leading School Payment Platform. Our narrative is shifting from "product features" to "ecosystem value." We are moving schools from many payment providers to one payment partner.
We are unique in our ability to execute this because we own the entire value chain:
1. In-Person & Online:
We are the only player effectively digitising the "dirty" physical payments (tuckshop, clothing store and on-campus event payments) while seamlessly handling the "clean" online payments (in-app and online payments for fundraisers, fees, projects and ticket sales). Even if your school wants their own branded cards or bands, we’ve got that covered, too!
2. Generating Cash, Reducing Admin, Integrating the ecosystem:
By automating reconciliation and integrating with partners like d6, Snapplify and other service providers operating in the School market, we don't just process money; we give time back to the school. We help schools operate sustainably.
3. The "Sticitt Money" Bridge:
This is our competitive moat. By involving parents in the payment ecosystem, we introduce the Sticitt Money Account—not as a standalone product, but as a tool to raise financially confident kids while we help build stronger School communities.
Why This Matters Now. With 78% of South Africans reporting ongoing money stress, our mission has never been more critical. We are using the school ecosystem as the foundation to teach healthy money habits. When a child uses their Sticitt tag at the tuckshop, they aren't just buying lunch; they are learning to budget, save, and transact responsibly.
We are building a world where efficient schools nurture financially confident children.
